insurance?
Insurance coverage applies to
Green energy facilities are insured against sudden and unexpected damage, destruction and loss of the facilities.
In the event of an internal breakdown of devices, we will compensate the losses once during the validity period of the insurance contract, up to a maximum of EUR 2,000 (sublimit).
This insurance risk is only valid for a solar power plant that is at least 7 years old, an electric car charging station or a heat pump that is at least 5 years old. This age is calculated from the moment of purchase. This insurance risk does not apply to solar panels in all cases.
Once during the validity period of the insurance contract, we will compensate the losses for electricity purchase costs (electricity money), if a failure of a solar power plant, which was recognized as an insured event, resulted in production downtime.
Electricity purchase costs are reimbursed at EUR 5/day until electricity production is restored, for a maximum of 30 days after the event.
We will compensate the costs of cleaning up the site in relation to the recovery from the insured event (for example, the demolition of the remaining parts of the facility, removal of garbage, cleaning of the area, rental and service costs for vehicles, devices for liquidating the losses) and the costs of rescuing the facility, which are necessary and appropriate for rescuing the facility, to reduce the loss or to comply with our instructions, even though the corresponding measures did not give a positive result. We will compensate the expenses of this group up to a maximum of 5% of the total amount of expenses, and a sublimit of EUR 1,000 in all cases.
